I recently found an interesting statistic put out by the Better Business Bureau. It states that for every 100 people harmed, only four do anything about it. That’s a surprising fact if you think about it. Only 4 percent of the population is willing to stand up for themselves.
Now, I’m guessing, that number is exaggerated. I’m sure that there are numerous cases of it just not being worth the time or aggravation to do anything about a distressed situation. But even when taking that into account, there’s no getting around the unmistakable lesson from this statistic: The great majority of people avoid conflict.
People would rather be harmed than face conflict. So, how do we use this in the Yu-Gi-Oh game? We can use it in two big ways. First and foremost, we need to ask ourselves honestly if we are among the large percentage of people who avoid conflict. If so, does that bleed over into the Yu-Gi-Oh game? Do we READ THE FULL ARTICLE >>

Na! Na! Na! Na! Na! Na! Na!Na! Hey Hey-ey, goodbye! Say farewell to one of most recent hated cards around, cold wave! Now all of us do not have to worry about not being able to stop those OTK decks. Finally we just might have a chance to play.
So the recent OCG ban list came out. As in past ban lists, there are some WTF cards and some “finally I don’t have to deal with that card”. Also with past OCG ban lists most of the cards on the list will be the same for us here.
Some of the card choices are obvious and some came out of left field. I’m actually OK with the current ban list. I may be saying that since my deck didn’t get hit hard. But I feel most of the cards on the list needed something to be done to them. How many times have we lost to blackwings because they drop multiple Kalut? Or lost to not being able to use any of your back row cards for 2 turns? Or the most recent, without even drawing your first card, you have to deal with a field full of READ THE FULL ARTICLE >>
Say hello to the new dominating deck in the format. As with past YCS’s there is a new deck winning, Legendary Six Samurai. It was such a dominating deck in this tournament that it took not just the top spot but also 2 of the other top 4 spots.
Congrats to 1st time YCS winner, Nizar Sarhan, for his dominating a field of over 800 people with his six samurai deck. He had an epic battle in the finals against last YCS championship deck, gravekeeper’s. With the latest Storm of Ragnarok six samurai’s, Legendary Six Samurai – Kageki, Kagemusha of the Six Samurai, Legendary Six Samurai – Kizan, Shien’s Smoke Signal, Musakani Magatama, and Legendary Six Samurai – Shi En, he was able to do thinks six samurai players have been wanting to do for years.
Nazar’s deck list has many interactive cards that once played got him many +1′s and sometime +2′s and +3s. Getting so many pluses and playing many defensive cards to protect the card advantage, you can see why this deck was the top deck. It was READ THE FULL ARTICLE >>
It’s amazing how we always say we lost a game due to a mistake / misplay we made. We say, “If only I did this instead of that. I would have won.” We all say it and all do things we wish we could take back. The ONLY good thing is that we learn from our mistakes / misplays.
Here are the 5 top playing mistakes you should not do…. READ THE FULL ARTICLE >>
