It’s been months in the making, but Turbo Pack 4 is finally here, available first to Duelists participating in the Dragon Duel and Pegasus Challenge here at YCS Mexico City. Turbo Pack 4 reprints a number of popular cards, including a few that were previously unavailable outside of the United States and Canada. Tragoedia appears as the Ultimate Rare, the first time it’s available in Europe and Latin America.
If you’re looking to add more foil cards to your Deck, Turbo Pack 4 delivers several outstanding foil versions of some of the key cards in Blackwing, Plant Synchro, Quickdraw Dandywarrior, X-Saber, Zombie, and Absolute Zero Decks. You can also pick up an easy-to-get Dark Hole, one of the previously Forbidden cards that’s showing up all over the place and hasn’t been available since 2004. (Unless you were lucky enough to pull one out of the Legend of Blue-Eyes White Dragon pack in your Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME Legendary Collection!)
Turbo Pack 4 also carries some curiosities from the game’s past and solves at least one mystery that you just know someone was losing sleep over, somewhere. Remember Oscillo Hero #2? Sure you do. It turns out that the “Watt” monsters that debuted in The Shining Darkness have a common ancestor: Oscillo Hero #2. Except that’s not its real name! His actual name is really Wattkid, so it’s reprinted here in Turbo Pack 4 to set the record straight. Oscillo Hero is actually an Oscillo Hero, though. In case you’re confused, just play with the Turbo Pack 4 versions of both, and you’ll be sure you’re using the correct versions – no imposters!
